Description

The necklace has a loop pendant with a Mother of Pearl stone mounted on a hand stamped sterling silver barrel bead, it measures 6 1/2″ long. The necklace has white shell heishi beads spaced with hand stamped sterling silver barrel beads and finished with sterling silver end cones and a hook clasp and measures 23″, weight 7.40 oz. Nestoria Coriz of Santa Domingo Pueblo learned her craft from her father, Lupe Pena, and her paternal grandparents. She is celebrated for her traditional-contemporary designs and her mastery of heishi, bead, and stonework.
