Signed GB Mexico on bottom. Brutalist Mexican pendant fixture which features an eight-sided body with hand-cut perforations that allow light to project patterns onto walls. Gene Byron (1910–1987), a Canadian-born artist who became a key figure in the mid-century modern and brutalist movements in Guanajuato, Mexico. Her studio was renowned for its hand-forged and punched tin and brass metalwork.
