A rare and beautifully made antique oak countertop roll-top desktop secretary, circa 1900–1915 — the tabletop equivalent of the full roll-top desk, designed to sit on a counter or writing table and provide organized, lockable document storage in a compact footprint. Good antique condition. Tambour operates (note smoothness). All hardware original. Quarter-sawn interior panel intact and striking. Surface shows normal wear and patina consistent with age.
