Both Ron and Dancer have lived in Taos for thirty years, spending many of those years working with local nonprofit arts organizations. They established a theatre company with a group of talented actors and theatre professionals in 2009. The evolution into selling antiques and running estate sales made sense, as every estate sale is a production. So, for the past several years they have been helping the folks in their community make life transitions like downsizing, moving or settling family estates.
Pricing & Sales
- Determine and set the selling price of all items by way of “fair market value” and liquidation pricing, and by using their best discretion on selling price trends.
- Create an inventory, photographs and description of each item.
- Follow through with either an online auction or in person estate sale that works for each individual situation.
Management

Manage and oversee removal and dispersal of all unsold items as established in the contract.

Provide a final report of all sales & dispersal of items & cut a check for the client.
Advertising
- Advertise the sale in the local newspapers and media websites, and on pertinent social media as determined appropriate.
- Display photographs and descriptions of representative sale items on the Taos Estates Sales website as well as advertisements on EstateSales.org and through our AuctionZip partner.
