Taos Black Dog Antiques & Estate Sales is honored to offer select items from the Ortega home and chapel in Velarde, NM. Items include Spanish Colonial Revival furniture collected by Eulogio and Zoraida, bultos hand-carved by Eulogio and painted by Zoraida, and retablos from amateur santeros who donated items to the Ortega Chapel over the years. There will be antique furnishings comprised of collector’s items spanning the late 19th into the early 20th century – a stately oak Arts & Crafts sideboard, a striking Eastlake parlor set, a half-dozen chest of drawers (some with mirrors, some with marble tops), China cabinets, and the family dining table.
