Signed “Del Salazar 80” on bottom. Hand-carved cedar bulto of San Francisco de Asís (St. Francis of Assisi) by Taos, New Mexico folk artist Leo “Del” Salazar. Carved from a single piece of aromatic cedar, natural and unfinished, showcasing the beautiful flowing grain throughout.
