Honoring Leekya DeYuse. Signed on base “6/50 ©Le Roy 77” and inscribed on opposite “FROM AN ORIGINAL CARVING BY LEEKYA DEYUSE” Bear fetish with medicine bundle on a carved and textured base. Heavy vintage brass/silver copy of a bear fetish by master craftsman Leekya DeYuse (b.1889-1966). Known as Old Man Leekya or just Leekya he began producing in 1920 through his death in 1966.
