Hand-carved from a beautifully figured block of white marble the figure is highlights its stunning natural ribbons of color throughout the body. True to Hayes’ signature style, the bear has a powerful silhouette featuring a flat back and clean, sweeping geometric lines. Secured to the bear’s back with natural sinew is a simple ceremonial medicine bundle of a hand-carved arrowhead.
